some of my favorite reasons for living in san francisco

1. working from home
typically working from home is such a thrilling 'day off', but for us in san francisco it's practically an every day thing. look at me, here i am, working from home! so proud!

2. foooood
lets add to the working from home perks with the joy of the most amazing food...being delivered to your door! one more pleasure to be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed- i mean desk!

3. is that weed i smell?
yes, yes it is. and it's accepted throughout the whole bay area. you are no longer forced to hot box your bedroom, you can do all your smoking on your stoop with no questions asked!

4. all those health nuts
it's seriously impossible to eat poorly in this town. you order a double double with extra cheese, you'll definitely have a hard core vegan standing right behind you to remind you the wrong you're doing to yourself...and the world.

5. the sights
once you smoked all your dope and ate all your food, you're probably going nuts and need to feel connected to the earth we walk on. lucky us, this rad town gets pretty much the most spectacular views no matter what part your in. golden gate park, the bridge, moraga steps, mt davidson, twin peaks, dolores (where we can find more weed), and so much more.

so thank you, san francisco. i will officially have an impossible time trying to find an excuse to leave you.

as a recent grad only a few of the expected "things to come" have occurred.

you assume as you grow older that graduating from a college (of course, of your choice) and getting a degree (of course, in what you love) will be providing the yellow brick rode to your future career (that of course, will have been your dream since age two).

sike, life pulled a fast one on ya!

here i am, an almost adult of age 22 floundering about wondering what could have been. two months after i graduated from a college i didn't fully want to attend, $60k down the drain, four years of sleep deprived nights, and one sad Associates of Arts Degree later here i am! almost disappointed in myself, yet not completely because hey, i graduated "college".

this is the EXACT point in which i thought i be starting the job of my dreams. sike again my friend, you're still at the part time job you hate, trying to make some extra cash by babysitting your parents dog just so you can afford that next drink you definitely need.

BUT, i do have "a job". definitely not the kind with a salary, but hey thats what a second job's for anyways!

i also have a lot of "free time", though i will not lie, most of it is consumed by applying to real grown up jobs or again...babysitting my parents dog. might i also mention that i have yet to even get an interview at any of the four thousand i have applied.

you also expect to be traveling a lot after college with all that money you saved on eating ramen noodles. it was so worth it to spend that solid savings account of $68 on my clipper card... so really when i mean travel, you know I'm talking about going to that bar your friend just got a job at (we like discounted drinks).

and hey how about them accomplishments! oh yeah! my sleeping in skills have dramatically increased and don't even get me started on my drinking. if it were nationally accepted to be an alcoholic as a career, i'd be the first in line.

but thats okay, because here in 2015 most college grads hardly do a damn thing! especially when located in neverland (aka SAN FRANCISCO).

you are not alone.

p.s. no, mom, i don't want to create an app.
